INFORMATIONISTAA person who works with information, either in the public or corporate sector to support learning, knowledge construction, informed decision- making and advance society in the digital age; power user of information, technology and collaboration; leader in the development of people as effective information users; and ambassador of SIS Learning centre in SL
From the above SL location.
Being able to look back at all the above social networking tools as part of learning was wonderful. I am not new to these tools but have never had the time to spend much time in any of the sites. Wikis and Blogs I use as teaching tools as a librarian. I find WIKIs and Blogs a wonderful way to interact with the students and they are a reliable way to store information. I used WIKIs as an art teacher too. I was able to communicate with the students in a way that was just not happening in the physical class. We would WIKI everyday during class time for Multimedia and once a week for ART.

In relation the information about readin on the rise this was very interesting and positive. From the information relaxing to literacy it would seem students and society are not reading.

It is unfortunate the information is not including figures more recent as I believe it would show more use of all of the web content. Smart phones have enabled even more people to use all of the content in the research. I would surgery more library and school Cairo should be completed using smart phones and iPads.
